iQOO 15 goes global with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip

iQOO has launched its newest flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, in India, bringing one of the first devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to global markets. It was originally unveiled in China last October.
Up front is a large 6.85-inch 2K Samsung M14 LTPO AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and up to 6,000 nits peak brightness. Inside, the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 works with a Q3 Gaming chip, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB storage.

The 7,000mAh battery supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. Camera hardware includes a 50MP Sony main shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, while a 32MP selfie camera handles front shots.

The iQOO 15 is IP68/IP69 rated and starts at INR 72,999 ( PHP 47,692.97 ), with availability in India beginning December 1. The phone now comes in two variants, the Matte Black Alpha Edition and the White Legend Edition, with the brand’s tri-color logo.
