Jetpack Joyride Racing now on iOS and Android

Listen to article

Halfbrick has officially launched Jetpack Joyride Racing, bringing the popular franchise into the kart racing genre on both iOS and Android.

The new title introduces multiplayer races with up to six players, focusing on short, fast-paced matches that emphasize drifting and timing rather than just speed. Players must navigate tracks filled with interactive zones, including boost areas, slow zones, and hazards that can temporarily stop vehicles.

Despite the shift to racing, the game retains its signature style, with familiar characters like Barry Steakfries returning as playable racers. The overall tone remains consistent with the series’ over-the-top and arcade-like gameplay.

Progression is tied to a card-based system, allowing players to unlock upgrades and content across titles through the Halfbrick+ ecosystem. The game also includes a Season Pass, though it avoids intrusive monetization, offering an ad-free experience with optional subscriptions.

Originally planned for an earlier release, the game arrives with a more polished experience, aiming to deliver a complete and competitive multiplayer racing title for mobile users.

Jetpack Joyride Racing is now available for download on both major mobile platforms.
