realme is prepping to launch its next camera-centric smartphone lineup, the realme 13 Pro Series 5G. The company is hyping it as their “first professional AI camera phone,” hinting at significant upgrades in photography powered by AI.

A teaser image suggests the phone will retain the realme 12 Pro’s signature “luxury watch” camera island design, but with a new “Hyperimage+” branding etched below the lenses.

Additionally, realme announced a “realme AI Imaging Media Preview Event” scheduled for July 4th in Bangkok. This likely suggests an imminent reveal of the phone’s imaging capabilities.

Technical details remain scarce, but rumors point to the realme 13 Pro+ retaining the well-regarded 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor and the 50-megapixel IMX882 periscopic zoom lens from its predecessor.

The chipset might see a bump to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Meanwhile, an FCC listing only confirms a 5050mAh battery capacity for the phone.

realme has yet to officially announce a launch date for the realme 13 Pro Series 5G. With the upcoming media event, however, we can expect a clearer picture of what the company has in store for AI-powered mobile photography.
