Abe, I’m going to go cast my vote right now … your blog has been of great value to me and I hope to be a reader for many years to come. But am I the only one who can see the absolute insanity here? We have an endless chorus of bloggers and other Filipino web entrepreneurs continually harping on “Why the Philippines/Filipinos don’t get no respect online” (not that their complaint is not sometimes justified).

And then we have the premier awards group in the Philippines actively soliciting votes via SMS! My head hurts. It’s about the _web_ people! A lot of guys and guys who want respect/recognition … who wnat to be taken seriously .. would do well to get their heads and their thumbs out of their cell phones! It’s like trying to break into the field of print journalism but not being able to use a pen and paper.

OK, Rant switch off, vote for Yuga whichever way you choose … I’m only a stranger in a strange land ;-)
