Looking for a job right now? We’ve curated a list of job searching apps for you to install and use on your smartphones. Let the hunt begin!
Before the rise of the internet, looking for jobs has always been an excruciating process. You have to scan through newspapers’ classified ads section and check if there are job vacancies or probably do walk-ins to various companies. Let’s be real, sometimes the response you’re waiting for never seems to arrive in those cases. Here are a few apps you can use to land your dream work.

Author’s note: All listed apps below work in the Philippines and they are all legit.
1.) JobStreet

JobStreet is branded as Philippines’ no. 1 job hiring and career site. With over 230,000+ employers across Southeast Asia in their database and 54,700 jobs in the Philippines and overseas, you might as well find a job that suits you. You won’t also miss any job recommendations as LiNa Job Matches notifies you in your email. Always keep an eye on your email!
2.) Indeed

Considered as the world’s no. 1 job search site, Indeed offers free access to over 16 million of job openings from thousands of company websites and job boards. You simply just have to input your desired job position and from what company. It’s also convenient as it allows you to find a job near your city.
3.) Kalibrr

With more than 5,000 customers worldwide, Kalibrr is the fastest-growing jobs platform in the Philippines. The app uses job matching technology to suggest jobs and companies based on your profile, skills, experiences, and interest. It’s also convenient as companies directly notify you on the said app if they invite you for an interview, or if you’re lucky, hires you for the job.
4.) GrabJobs

GrabJobs guarantees that within 5 days, you will get a response for your job application. Sounds too promising not to try. Also, you are not required to make a CV to apply. Just simply keep an online career profile, and what’s cooler, you can apply by video. Another feature they recently added is AIRA, or the Artificial Intelligence Recruitment Assistant. It’s a chatbot that works to engage and pre-screen job applicants with preset interview questions selected by the employer.
5.) LinkedIn

If you haven’t created a profile yet on LinkedIn, now’s the right time to do so. This app will help you establish connections in network companies, as well as prospective employers. You simply just have to type in your desired job position and company and from there, you can send your LinkedIn profile directly.
6.) Monster Jobs
This app is called Monster for a reason. Monster Job helps you build a network and find the right job for you, thanks to its smart job recommendations. You won’t also miss out on any job opportunities as the app notifies you right away.
7.) jobsDB

With over 120,000 job postings every month, who knows, you might find the job you’re looking for. Similar to Indeed, you can also search for your desired job title and location, however, with jobsDB you can input your expected salary. You will also receive job alerts based on your search criteria.
And that’s about it. We hope you that you land on a job that speaks to you. If we missed anything, let us know in the comments below. Good luck on your job hunting!
