Samsung’s latest and greatest smartphone can now be yours if you live in the first 10 countries to get hold of the well-praised handset. Through a press release, the South Korean giant is proud to announce the commercial launch of the Galaxy Note7.
UPDATE: (08/19/16 8:05PM) Pre-orders and those availed via telco are not affected. General consumer launch got delayed due to stock issues.

Consumers from the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, the UAE and, of course, South Korea may now possess the Galaxy Note7 through their respective stores and retailers.
As for us here in the Philippines, we have to wait a bit longer since the nationwide consumer launch that’s supposedly tomorrow got postponed. We were informed that it’s move to a later date sometime in September. When exactly? We can’t tell yet but we’ll keep you updated.
While we wait, you may read our review about the Galaxy Note7 here. As for those who wish to have it in a postpaid plan, here are Globe’s and Smart’s listings. The smartphone has a suggested retail price of Php39,990 and comes bundled with a free new Gear VR headset. It will be available in Gold Platinum, Black Onyx, and Silver Titanium, while the Blue version is said to come in Q4.

Pre-orders are affected as well. I pre-ordered mine on August 7th. The new date they gave me this morning is September 4.
