HUAWEI MatePad T 8 LTE priced in the Philippines

HUAWEI has just launched its newest mid-range Android tablet, the HUAWEI MatePad T 8 LTE.

It’s designed to be a lightweight and portable tablet with it just weighing 310g. The display is an 8-inch LCD panel with a 1280 x 800 resolution and a pixel density of 189 PPI.

It also sports ultra-slim bezels, an 80% screen-to-body ratio, and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification to help filter up to 50% of blue light and eBook mode for a more comfortable reading experience.

The MatePad T 8 LTE comes with EMUI10 which is based on Android 1o while also boasting an advanced octa-core chipset with four large cores running at a base of 2.0GHz and four smaller cores running at 1.5GHz.

It is also paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage while also having support for expandable storage via microSD card up to 512GB.

At the rear, it features a single 5MP F2.2 camera, and at the front a 2MP F2.4 selfie camera.

As for battery life, it boasts a large 5100 mAh battery that is charged through its MicroUSB port and is said to last 12 hours of video playback and can stay awake for 600 hours on standby.

The MatePad T 8 LTE also features a Kids Corner to help children embrace the device with pre-installed modules such as the Recorder, Camera, Multimedia, and Kids Painting, while also maintaining flexible parental controls with app and content management.

The HUAWEI MatePad T 8 LTE 2022 comes in a Deep Sea Blue colorway and is priced at only PHP 6,999. It is available now at offline and online HUAWEI stores, authorized retail outlets, Shopee, and Lazada.
