Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ now official

Samsung has officially announced its latest flagship smartphones — the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+. The Galaxy S9 takes off from the same design of the Galaxy S8 and improved on it.

The pair still followed the same 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Infinity Display although with a slightly higher screen-to-body ratio of 84.2% (S9) and 83.2% (S9+).

One noticeable cosmetic changes that Samsung made with the Galaxy S9 is the re-positioning of the fingerprint scanner at the back. It’s now below the camera instead of beside it, an issue many reviewers pointed out earlier.

A new processor, the Samsung Exynos 9810, now powers the Galaxy S9/S9+ with options for 4GB or 6GB of RAM (S9+) and 64GB, 128GB or 256GB (S9+) storage options.
