Acer unveils FreeSense Ring, AI TransBuds, and new e-scooters at COMPUTEX 2025

Acer Gadget, a subsidiary of Acer Inc., has officially introduced two new AI-powered wearables — the FreeSense Ring and AI TransBuds — at COMPUTEX 2025, along with a refreshed lineup of e-scooters, e-bikes, and mobility accessories. The new products reflect Acer’s growing commitment to innovation in wellness tech, real-time communication, and smart mobility.

FreeSense Ring: Smart wellness tracking in a sleek form

The Acer FreeSense Ring is a lightweight, AI-powered health tracker built with a titanium alloy body. It monitors vital health metrics such as:

• Heart rate & heart rate variability

• Blood oxygen (SpO2)

• Sleep stages and quality

All data is synced to a companion mobile app, which offers personalized wellness insights — without any subscription fees. The ring is designed for users who want a discreet and stylish health tracker they can wear daily.

AI TransBuds: Real-time AI translation in your ear

Acer also launched the AI TransBuds, compact earbuds that offer two-way, real-time voice translation via a plug-in receiver connected to a smartphone or tablet. Powered by AI-driven speech recognition and semantic analysis, the TransBuds can:

• Translate conversations with just one user wearing the buds

• Display live captions and transcription for easy review

• Support 15 major languages across Asia, Europe, and the Americas

New eMobility gear: eScooters, eBikes, and more

Acer Gadget also showcased its latest electric rideables:

• eScooter Series 4 Select & Series 5 Select

• Predator ES Storm & ES Thunder

These units come with 400W–500W motors, adaptive brake systems, and smart suspension. Users can track performance and manage settings using the Acer eMobility App.

The spotlight was also on the Predator eRanger, a rugged fat-tire e-bike designed for both urban and off-road use. First seen at the Taipei Cycle Show 2025, it reflects Acer’s growing interest in outdoor and hybrid mobility solutions.
