Alcatel just announced the local availability of their most affordable Android smartphone — the Alcatel One Touch Magic.

The One Touch Magic uses a low-power dual-core SOC HSPA+ for entry-level smartphones (MediaTek MT6572) which integrates WiFi, BT4.0, FM, GPS.

im confuse, i got 1 from smart plan 345, but only 2gb storage and single sim. says on the box alcatel one touch magic but the model is 4033a, i’d search it and says its alcatel pop c3. wth?

This phone is so amazing! i bought it last month and it really fits my requirements. Just to mention, its specifications may not be that high but the quality of the hardware used is durable. It doesn’t mean that 512RAM will not work on JB version of android platform but it depends on the generation of the hardware. Those who are complaining above without experiencing this phone, you better shut up. ALCATEL won’t mess their name.

I just had Alcatel OT Magic from my plan few weeks ago. I find it great for a spare phone. Then battery lasts as long as you’re not a phone gamer or internet nookie the whole day. For basic uses like calls/texts/few internet access, I say this phone is great. Battery life can sustain 2 days. I guess whatever phone you have, when you drain your battery life through net surfing or games, talagang mauubos ng mabilis. I have my Samsung Note 2, darn it only lasts for a day. For OT Magic, yes. This one is A-ok!

Nakuha ko to sa Sun postpaid plan 350. Okay naman sya, di pa naman naglalag kahit sobrang dami ko nang apps. Ayos lang din ang design, mukhang mamahalin. Yung camera naman maganda yung rear cam pero yung front cam medyo malabo kaya yung rear cam pa rin gamit ko pag-selfie. lol. Medyo di rin maganda yung touchscreen feature nya pero oksy lang din naman. PINAKA THE BEST FEATURE NYA yung internet speed, umaabot hanggang 21mbps. Di ko alam kung sa phone pa ba yun o sa sim card ko na pero sun at smart prepaid lang naman gamit ko. Yung smart sa pag internet at yung sun sa pag call at text kasi nga nakaplan ako. Trust me guys, mabilis talaga mag internet dito. Nakakanood ako ng movie sa youtube nang walang lag. Yung battery lang talaga ang downside nito. Di aabot ng isang araw lalo na pag mahilig ka sa games at internet surfing. I suggest magdownload na lang kayo ng task killers at battery saver. Babaan nyo rin ang brightness para lalong makatipid sa battery. Overall “okay” naman sya sa price line nya. P.S. Yung speak-to-text feature nya ang isa sa paborito ko ;) Sana makatulong kahit papano yung review ko sa mga may balak bumili nito :D

meron ako nakuha nito P3,999 lang at ung 5MP ang rear camera, ewan ko kung 3.2MP ba tlga ang spec nito or 5MP pero ok nmn sha sa pics. battery life 5hrs of gaming bago ma lobat, non demanding games, candy crush, pvz2, zombie diary, malakas ba mag consume ang ganon?so far wala pa naman ako na experience na lag.

I heard that MT6572 comes with Mali 400 GPU. I don’t know if its the under clocked Mali though. The breakthrough on this processor is in manufacturing which made this cheaper to produce and sell. Nothing a buyer will benefit on since you can buy MT6577 and MT8589M phones at about the same price. It also have the 28nm technology so battery consumption should be about the same as older model with the same 28nm.

Only feedback from actual owners who’ve already had the chance to use it over several days can tell us whether the OT Magic can indeed last the day without a big batt like JLo’s.

Before complaining read first. It’s low-power integrated SOC. So it’s probably a new SOC that’s a batt economizer, that doesn’t need a big batt.

almost same specs with the old CM flare but looks like an SIII mini. btw the old glory 2 with almost the same specs can handle jellybean smoothly.

low-spec phone: walang kwenta, boring, laggy etc..
hi-spec phone: it’s good but (insert higher-end device here) is much better, i’d rather get that than this..
