low-spec phone: walang kwenta, boring, laggy etc..
hi-spec phone: it’s good but (insert higher-end device here) is much better, i’d rather get that than this..

Predictable na trolling techniques mo totoy.

    • abuzalzal says:

      You are stupid and illogical

It is always wiser to spend more on a phone that *works* than being tricked into buying something super cheap that barely works

Do you even have ANY idea how 512 mb RAM warks on a JB platform? you bumming idiot

I’m not trolling….I’m just expressing my strong disgust to these OEMs (and clueless people like YOU) that claim 512mb RAM is good enough

    • al says:

Read folks, it says low power integrated SOC so it probably doesn’t a big batt to power this fone.

    • Mang Kanor says:

Dapat busalan yang si Abuzalzal. Kung anu ano ang mga pinagsasabi.

  4. aotm says:

Typo there. I think that should read as 3.2, not 32 MP.

  5. aw says:

nakow 1300mah… di aabot ng isang araw

  6. Jlouis says:

    512 RAM sa 4.2 Jelly Bean with 1300mah battery? Waahhh….. Anyways G’luck Alcatel. :)

  7. CopyCat-droid says:

  8. almost same specs with the old CM flare but looks like an SIII mini. btw the old glory 2 with almost the same specs can handle jellybean smoothly.

    motto of the day:
“be satisfied of what you have and what you can afford” ;-p

  9. al says:

Before complaining read first. It’s low-power integrated SOC. So it’s probably a new SOC that’s a batt economizer, that doesn’t need a big batt.

  10. RJ de Leon says:

Only feedback from actual owners who’ve already had the chance to use it over several days can tell us whether the OT Magic can indeed last the day without a big batt like JLo’s.

  11. Justin says:

Nothing “magical” about 512MB of RAM. :(

  12. dora says:

me glory 2 aq, kayang kaya ng 512 n ram yun jb, hindi xa naglalag maxado… as in mas naglalag p yun samsung ng kptid q n ics… hndi nmn cla mgbebenta ng hndi nla natetest at naayos lalo kpag branded

  13. LowBatt says:

I heard that MT6572 comes with Mali 400 GPU. I don’t know if its the under clocked Mali though. The breakthrough on this processor is in manufacturing which made this cheaper to produce and sell. Nothing a buyer will benefit on since you can buy MT6577 and MT8589M phones at about the same price. It also have the 28nm technology so battery consumption should be about the same as older model with the same 28nm.

  14. Karlo says:

I’m planning to buy this phone over flare 2.0, this phone looks great( well for me ) . . .

  15. Karlo says:

Meron ding model na may 5 mp camera instead of 3.2 mp. sale siya ngayon P3999 lng. . . from davao pla. . .

  16. sgt.prinnydood says:

gionee pioneer p2 was way better than this… anyway good phone alcatel :)

  17. pomboe says:

this phone is not that bad as half of the people say.

  18. ail says:

    saan po made ang alcatel?

  19. hunter says:

Trust me guys, mabilis talaga mag internet dito.

This phone is so amazing! i bought it last month and it really fits my requirements. Just to mention, its specifications may not be that high but the quality of the hardware used is durable. It doesn’t mean that 512RAM will not work on JB version of android platform but it depends on the generation of the hardware. Those who are complaining above without experiencing this phone, you better shut up. ALCATEL won’t mess their name.

I just had Alcatel OT Magic from my plan few weeks ago. I find it great for a spare phone. Then battery lasts as long as you’re not a phone gamer or internet nookie the whole day. For basic uses like calls/texts/few internet access, I say this phone is great. Battery life can sustain 2 days. I guess whatever phone you have, when you drain your battery life through net surfing or games, talagang mauubos ng mabilis. I have my Samsung Note 2, darn it only lasts for a day. For OT Magic, yes. This one is A-ok!
