Listen to article

BDO has announced that it will shut down the BDO Online Banking website starting March 31, 2025 and will no longer be accessible to its customers. This announcement was recently made through the Inbox of the BDO Online banking site since yesterday, January 31.

The message appear as such:

The full quote of the announcement is below:

The BDO Online Banking website will no longer be accessible starting March 31, 2025

A new banking experience on your desktop and mobile browser is coming your way soon! To make way for this, the old BDO Online Banking website will no longer be available starting March 31, 2025.

For a smoother transition, you may use the BDO Online app to start saving your billers and recipients.

If you don’t have the BDO Online app yet, download it now on Google Play Store (Android), App Store (iOS), or Huawei AppGallery (HarmonyOS).

We still don’t have any information if BDO will be re-launching a desktop website and what domain or URL it will be available. Since, they mentioned “old” banking website, we assumed there will be a “new” one after March 31.

Update: February 7, 2025

BDO reached out to us to share their official statement regardg=ing this development, and we quote:

The new BDO Online Banking website is coming soon!

A new online banking experience is coming soon for BDO customers as the bank prepares to roll out the new BDO Online Banking website. In the coming weeks, customers can expect a fresh new interface as they view and manage their BDO accounts and cards, make transactions, view their statements, and more. This will be accessible via the BDO website at www.bdo.com.ph.

In the meantime, customers can continue using the existing BDO Online Banking website until March 31, 2025. The BDO Online and BDO Pay apps also continue to be available for customers on their mobile phones.

So, it looks like our guess of a brand new website is actually going to happen.

Pls.. be noted that you keep changing your apps for banking online, it’s annoying! Esp.. like me I lived overseas, but, I always use the banking online transactions in the Philippines from my BDO accts..and to get the new apps always a struggle, as sometimes due a connection on line😿..make it easy for the benefits to your clients, thank you.
