Globe, one of the country’s biggest telcos, said in a statement that it could activate over 16 terabits per second of international bandwidth, which it noted would “satisfy the market’s hunger for faster internet services.”
According to Globe CEO Ernest Cu, Globe’s biggest hurdle is its “long-running issue over the large number of permits needed at the local government unit level and the slow pace of processing”. This is contrary to what government regulators said that there’s only 2 Tbps combined capacity available from Globe and PLDT Inc.
Globe noted that it could only use “less than” 3 Tbps, or just 19 percent of the available figure.
Cu also added that they have repeatedly called on the government to help address the said issues that are common at the local government level.
“Our biggest hurdle in delivering consistently good internet [service] is the cumbersome number of permits and right of way issues that prevent us from building the last mile connectivity that would allow world class internet services to be enjoyed by the ordinary household or any person using a mobile phone,” said Cu.

Why not report to the president if that is the case of delay faster internet. Or you are not really doing your application to secure such requierements.
Liera says:

Good luck nalang sau.

Globe once said, let us interconnect with PLDT so that our internet will be faster. After a long while pumayag si PLDT. Anyare? Ambagal pa rin ng Globe. Tapos eto na naman. Reklamo na lang ng reklamo? Sisihin sa kung anu-ano?

Eh di tanggaling nyo muna yung cap at speed trottling. Nagdadahilan pa eh, cant wait for the 3rd telco.
John says:
excuses… if you can really improve the speed, the existing subscribers should be enjoying it already

Tubong lugaw amputa! -_-
Realist says:
It is possible. Start by blocking torrent sites and removing your free data promos for Prepaid subscribers. Those are the users who are congesting the networks.

BULOK TALAGA ITONG GLOBE! PURO SALITA AT MARKETING LANG PERO WALANG BINATBAT…the problem is wala tayong other option kasi just as bulok din yung iisang option na natira.
