After almost 3 years, Nintendo has announced a refreshed 3DS portable gaming console. The new models feature a slight re-design and improved hardware.

The Nintendo 3DS will be available in Japan starting October for 16,000 while the Nintendo 3DS LL will sell for 18,800 yen.
