Nintendo teases LEGO Game Boy set, launches October 2025

Listen to article

Nintendo’s recent announcement isn’t about the highly anticipated Switch successor… but about an upcoming LEGO set derived from the classic Game Boy console.

The new set will join Lego’s growing collection of video game system replicas, which already includes sets inspired by the NES and Atari consoles.

Although, Nintendo has yet to reveal the LEGO Game Boy set’s actual design.

The company did share a brief teaser video on X (formerly, Twitter) depicting some familiar components of the Game Boy console. These include the purple buttons, the D-pad, and pieces for the gray housing.

If the revealed pieces are any indication, the set looks set to mirror the size of the original Game Boy DMG handheld.

The teaser ends with confirmation that the LEGO Game Boy will launch in October, though neither a specific release date nor pricing details were shared.

For reference, below is one example of Nintendo x LEGO collaboration with NES console.
