OpenAI has just unveiled their new series of AI models with OpenAI o1.
OpenAI o1 is a new AI model that is created to solve complex tasks then their previous ones. ChatGPT Plus and Team will be able to access OpenAI o1 models starting September 12. OpenAI has stated that these models may be used for those solving complex problems in science, coding, math, and the like.
Two options are available with: o1-preview and o1-mini. The o1-preview is able to use advanced reasoning whereas o1-mini is a faster reasoning model.
OpenAI o1-mini is 80% cheaper than o1-preview and can solve problems that are not as complicated.
The weekly rate limits of the new models are 30 messages for o1-preview and 50 for o1-mini.
ChatGPT Plus is priced at USD 20 per month (or around PHP 1,122.95) whereas ChatGPT Team costs USD 25 per user billed monthly (PHP 1,403.69). There is also an annual billing for ChatGPT Team with a price tag of USD 30 per user (PHP 1,684.42).
