Razer has just unveiled their latest lineup of gaming headsets that consist of the new Barracuda and Barracuda Pro, along with a refresh of the current Barracuda X.
The Barracuda Pro is Razer’s premium set of gaming and lifestyle headphones. They come equipped with Razer’s TriForce Bio-Cellulose 50mm drivers to deliver a rich, natural and detailed sound profile. As well as a world-class THX Achromatic Audio Amplifier and THX Spatial Audio for greater dynamic range.
Premium features of the Barracuda Pro include Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation to provide an uninterrupted audio experience, ideal for intense gaming sessions or when going outside. With its cushions are made up of a plush leatherette memory foam to give a truly comfortable listening experience.
Other features include Razer‘s SmartSwitch Dual Wireless, which allows you to connect and seamlessly switch between two devices, and Dual Integrated Noise-Cancelling Microphones that are fine-tuned for peak vocal pick-up.
Alongside the Barracuda Pro, the new Razer Barracuda was also released featuring Razer’s TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers and THX Spatial Audio to deliver punchy sound. It also features the same SmartSwitch Dual Wireless technology allowing you to connect to two devices at a time.
The Razer Barracuda is designed with FlowKnit Memory Foam on its headband and earcup for a comfortable fit for long gaming sessions. It also features 40 hours of battery life with USB-C charging and even a 3.5 headphone jack for when you’d rather use it as wired headphones.
Capping off the list is the new refreshed Barracuda X with some substantial upgrades. The refreshed model now supports Bluetooth connectivity, Razer’s SmartSwitch Dual Wireless to connect to two devices simultaneously, and even double the battery life to deliver up to 50 hours of use on a single charge.
It features 40mm Razer Triforce Drivers and support for 7.1 Surround Sound. What is also truly unique is that its HyperClear cardioid microphone is detachable. Quite useful if you’d want better voice quality when gaming or have it removed and use it like any other set of headphones.
