Samsung is expanding its tech lineup once again, this time stepping into the world of smart eyewear. The company announced new partnerships with lifestyle eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker to develop its upcoming AI-powered glasses.

The project follows the recent reveal of Samsung’s Galaxy XR headset, created in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm. While details about the AI glasses remain limited, Samsung confirmed that the device will be built on the Android XR platform, the same system powering the Galaxy XR. This means the glasses are expected to work seamlessly with other Samsung and Android XR devices, offering smarter and more connected experiences.
Although the company did not mention an official release date or product name, reports suggest the AI glasses could launch in 2026. Samsung also said that it plans to release more wearable XR devices in the coming years, hinting at a broader lineup that could compete with existing smart glasses like the Ray-Ban Meta.
By teaming up with fashion-focused brands like Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, Samsung seems to be blending technology with style, aiming to make AI-powered eyewear not only functional but also fashionable.
