Sun offers Acer V5, Ativ Book 2 on Sun Plan 999

Listen to article

Carriers rarely offer laptop plans with their postpaid offerings since the hot devices right now are smartphones. Nevertheless, we were surprised that Sun Cellular is taking another stab at it with the Acer Aspire V5 and Samsung ATIV Book 2.

The laptops can be had with a corresponding internet plan as shown in the table below.

All plans come with a 30-month lock-in period.

For more details about the laptop plan, you can check here.

Yong kanilang speed is 3G/HSPA makukuha mo sa base tower then yong backbone transmission is E1(2Mbps) sus nako congested kayo dyan sa kanilang unlimited internet.

The notebooks are around 18k in average in cost so 1399 * 30 = 41,970 | 41,970 – 18k = 23,970

For 30 months of unlimited internet its like you had 6 months of free internet.

Unfortunately its sun so the speed is not LTE unlike other telcos for 999 its already LTE.

Then you are limited to two entry level notebook so the option is really limited.

For me I’m not the customer of this offer, but its a good recommendation though :)
