ASUS has officially launched the EeeBook X205 which is the company’s affordable 11.6-inch notebook at $199 (approx. Php8K). It runs on an Intel processor with Windows 8.1 out of the box and is designed to give users a smartphone-like experience.

11.6-inch display @ 1366 x 768 resolution
Intel Atom Z3735 quad-core processor
2GB RAM
32GB/64GB storage
Windows 8.1 with Bing
Comes with over 500GB cloud storage
Smart gesture technology

Up to 12 hours battery life

Colors: Black, white, gold, and red

$200 sa amazon.com about P9,000…pagdating sa pilipinas P14,000…wag na lang silang magbenta…nakakadismaya pero nila dito sa pinas dahil sa kung ano-ano tax daw etc….

Unfortunately nope, the display isn’t touchscreen. It’s a tradeoff for having a competitive price point. Would be awesome though if it was.
