The successor to the Lumix GF1 has just been announced by Panasonic, the Lumix DMC-GF2, a 12MP shooter in their Micro Four Thirds camera lineup.
The GF2 got some design changes and it’s now smaller and lighter with the LCD now made touch-sensitive.

The unit is paired with two optional lenses — DMC-GF2C (14mm f/2.5 Lens Kit) or a DMC-GF2K (14-42mm Zoom Lens Kit). No price indicated yet but should be announced once it starts shipping in January 2011.
i agree with sylv3rblade. the touch screen will probably make this a bit more expensive than the GF1 and the price point will be similar to entry level slrs.
the olympus e-pl1 is the cheaper choice.
Touch sensitive? Hmm I think this’ll be pricey.
