Samsung has announced that Prime Video will be the first streaming service to support HDR10+ ADVANCED.
Samsung has revealed that Prime Video will have HDR10+ ADVANCED starting in August 2026 on supported titles. The feature will first be available on Samsung’s 2026 TV lineup.
HDR10+ ADVANCED is a new picture technology that improves brightness, contrast and motion for a better viewing experience. It helps make bright scenes look brighter, dark scenes show more detail and fast-moving scenes appear smoother.
Samsung said the technology is designed for its latest TVs which have brighter displays and more powerful processors.
Prime Video said the new standard will automatically enhance supported movies and TV shows, giving viewers richer and more detailed visuals.
HDR10+ ADVANCED will launch first on Samsung’s 2026 TVs, with support for more Samsung devices planned in the future.
