Sony has announced its newest addition to the 1000X series, the WF-1000XM4 Truly Wireless Headphones. The Sony WF-1000XM4 is equipped with 6mm drivers, a V1 processor, and two noise-sensing microphones—one feed-forward and one feed-back. According to Sony, the WF-1000XM4 is expected to give 8 hours of continuous music playback with noise-canceling turned on; if it is turned off, it extends to 12 hours of playback. The Sony WF-1000XM4 is priced at USD 279.99 and is available in the US, but will make its way to the Philippines soon. Sony has officially introduced the new Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION, a premium addition to its well-known 1000X headphone lineup, as the company celebrates 10 years of the series. The new headphones focus on refined design, premium materials, improved comfort, and immersive sound quality while retaining the flagship noise-cancelling technology found in the acclaimed Sony WH-1000XM6. The 1000X THE COLLEXION is also the first Sony headphone to feature DSEE Ultimate, which uses Edge-AI to upscale compressed music files in real time. For noise cancellation, the headphones inherit the same technology used in the WH-1000XM6, including 12 microphones, Multi-Noise Sensor technology, and Adaptive NC Optimizer.
