South Korea has been on the top of the list for having the fastest broadband internet in the world for the longest time. So, the very first thing I did when I got here was test their internet connection. Amazon may launch its satellite internet service, called Project Kuiper (also known as Amazon LEO), in the Philippines as early as this year, according to Henry Aguda. Project Kuiper uses low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites to provide internet access, especially in areas with limited or no connection. If launched, it could give Filipinos another option for faster and more reliable internet, especially in remote locations. Amazon has been working on Project Kuiper as part of its plan to expand internet access worldwide. Like Starlink, the service aims to use a network of satellites to deliver internet directly to users on the ground. Microsoft has quietly introduced a new internet speed test feature in Windows 11, giving users a quicker way to check their connection directly from the taskbar.
