Acer has extended its lead as the Philippines' top laptop brand. According to Nielsen-GfK data covering the first five months of 2026, Acer held a 37% market share in the consumer laptop segment and a 34.5% share in gaming laptops. "They reflect our strong commitment to our mission of breaking barriers between people and technology, one that has guided our innovations for five decades." Beyond laptops, Acer highlighted initiatives such as Acer Day, the Asia Pacific Predator League and the Acer Edu Summit. Acer has expanded its AI PC lineup at COMPUTEX 2026 with the introduction of the new Swift Air 14 and Swift Spin 14 AI laptops, both powered by Intel’s latest processors. Both laptops include Acer’s AI software suite and are scheduled to launch in North America in August 2026. Acer has maintained the top position in laptop brands from 2006 to 2025. According to Nielsen-GfK data, Acer also achieved its highest-ever consumer laptop market share of 37.3% in 2025. “We will continue to serve our consumers in ways we know best to remain the top-of-mind computer brand in the country.” Popular laptop lines such as the Acer Aspire series and Acer Nitro series continue to drive sales while initiatives like the Asia Pacific Predator League help support the growth of esports in the region.
