ASUS has announced the new ASUS Pad (T3201), marking the company’s return to the Android tablet segment. CapCut has launched a new app called CapCut Pad for Android tablets, bringing more advanced video editing tools and a larger editing workspace designed for bigger screens. Available now through the Google Play Store, CapCut Pad aims to offer what the company calls “desktop-level” video editing on Android tablets. CapCut Pad is now available for download on supported Android tablets. Google is updating Google Chrome on Android tablets and foldables with a new bookmarks bar, bringing the experience closer to desktop. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. Android 12L is set to release in early 2022, but the new features are now available on the 12L developer preview page. There are still a lot of Android tablets out on the market, but it’s clear that they’re out of fashion, and Apple has simply been driving more innovation towards their iPads.
