Globe introduced new AI, cloud, and connectivity products during its “The Blueprint” media briefing on May 26, 2026 at The Globe Tower. For consumers, Globe launched Globe Cloud, an affordable cloud storage service with flexible plans for backing up files and photos, plus Flashback and AI-powered editing features. Another offer is Instagram Basic, which keeps users connected within Instagram to buy promos, perform personalized top-ups, and access data loans via the in-app Mobile Center, with the option to return to the full Instagram experience after reloading. Globe Prepaid, Postpaid, and Platinum customers can also tap emergency load and data loans, roaming assistance, and convert Rewards points into essentials such as food and fuel. Based on data from network analytics firm Ookla, Voice over LTE (VoLTE) penetration in the country reached only 30.9% in 2025. Mobile data isn’t lagging behind, either. Users report dropped mobile data in crowded areas, failed digital payments when the signal dips, or video calls freezing during peak evenings. But outside these areas, many users still contend with spotty mobile data or borderline‑usable fiber alternatives.
