TCL's latest smartphone lineup, the Alcatel 5, 3 and 1 series, has just been unveiled at MWC today, and taking its flagship position is its mid-range spec'd Alcatel 5 with Face Key feature. The Alcatel 5 sports a near bezel-less 5.7 inch 18:9 aspect ratio IPS display with an HD+ (1440 x 720) screen resolution. The front-facing camera, however, packs a dual-camera 13MP + 5MP set-up and also includes front-facing flash. The device not only employs a rear fingerprint sensor but also includes a facial recognition feature that Alcatel calls ‘Face Key’. The Alcatel 5 is now available in its Metallic Black and Metallic Gold for $282.76 or around Php14k when converted to peso. Alcatel is revving up this year as they officially announce the devices they will unveil in MWC 2018. The company posted on their twitter account the shells of a trio of smartphones -- The Alcatel 5, 3v, and 1x. Alcatel revealed nothing else except the empty shells of these devices.
