Telegram has launched a dedicated app for Wear OS smartwatches, bringing full chat access, voice messages, and chat management tools directly to users' wrists. The new Wear OS app also marks Telegram's return to Google's smartwatch platform after removing its previous Wear OS app from the Play Store in 2021. Telegram says the app can also display shared content such as photos, videos, and location previews directly on compatible smartwatches. Users can pin important chats, mute notifications from selected conversations, and delete chats directly from their smartwatch. The Telegram Wear OS app is now available for supported smartwatches running Google's Wear OS platform. Wear OS 3, the next iteration of Google’s smartwatch operating system is just around the corner and screenshots provide a sneak peek of what is to come. OPPO has unveiled the latest addition to its smartwatch lineup in China, the OPPO Watch Free. The watch also has a heart-rate monitor that works with different kinds of cardio activities such as running, walking, using an elliptical machine, and rowing; these allow the user to check on their cardiac activity through the smartwatch.
