Google is making Android lock screens even more useful with lock screen widgets—starting with the Pixel Tablet and expanding to more devices after Android 16 (QPR1). Whether your Android phone or tablet will get it depends on OEM support, meaning manufacturers will decide whether to bring it to their devices. Other Android tablets and phones should get the feature after Android 16’s QPR1 update—but only if manufacturers decide to support it. Google is updating Google Chrome on Android tablets and foldables with a new bookmarks bar, bringing the experience closer to desktop. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. There are still a lot of Android tablets out on the market, but it’s clear that they’re out of fashion, and Apple has simply been driving more innovation towards their iPads. So TechCrunch had the JooJoo and now YugaTech has an Android Tablet. It's not yet finished and what I have here is just a prototype of a 7-inch Android-powered tablet.
