Apple dropped iOS 27 beta 1 right after the WWDC 2026 keynote, and yes, the new Siri AI is in there. Apple has released the first public beta versions of its upcoming software updates, allowing users to try iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, and watchOS 27 ahead of their official release later this year. Apple reminds users that these are beta versions and may contain bugs or affect battery life. Those interested can enroll in the Apple Beta Software Program before downloading the updates through Settings > General > Software Update on supported devices. Apple has released watchOS 27 beta 3 for developers, bringing its upgraded Siri AI experience and a new standalone Siri app to the Apple Watch for the first time. With beta 3, eligible Apple Watch models can now access the updated Siri experience. Apple has released the second developer beta of iOS 27. End-to-end encrypted Apple and Google RCS messaging is rolling out in beta after an effort by Apple and Google to improve secure texting.
