Nearly a year and a half after its official announcement, Apple has finally made the 2-step verification available to 59 countries including Philippines. In case you don’t know, the 2-step verification feature acts as an added security for your Apple ID. If enabled, users would have to first input the system-generated code that will be sent to pre-configured number in order to login to their Apple account. Having this security feature can be a little annoying for some, but we think that majority of Apple users, particularly those who have a payment attached to their Apple ID, wouldn’t mind having the slight hassle because it adds another layer of protection to their account. Apple has revealed that the iPhone 12 and 12 mini now come in the color Purple. As per Apple, the new finish complements the beautiful flat-edge design of the iPhone 12. Moreover, the company also revealed that both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in Purple ship with the latest iOS 14.5, which features the ability to unlock iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a face mask, an enhanced Apple Podcasts app with a redesigned show and episode pages, and a Search tab, as well as new emoji. Additionally, Apple revealed that Siri no longer has a default voice and will include more voice options in English.
