Alibaba chairman Joe Tsai confirmed this at the World Government Summit in Dubai, reaffirming their company’s partnership with Apple for AI services. Tsai said that Apple has been in talks with multiple companies in China, but chose to do business with Alibaba. This is only given to local companies, thus why Apple Intelligence hasn’t been available in China so far.
