Now it looks like Apple iOS 26 is on its way as this year's iteration. Based on reports, Apple will be releasing iOS 26 to all iPhone models 11 and up, and the SE 2nd gen (or later). Apple dedicated a big chunk of WWDC 2026 to child safety, and the update is the most comprehensive parental control expansion since Screen Time launched. Apple has released the second developer beta of iOS 27. Apple says AirPort Utility will no longer be available for new downloads on iOS 27 and existing users may experience compatibility issues with the app. Moreover, the company also revealed that both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in Purple ship with the latest iOS 14.5, which features the ability to unlock iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a face mask, an enhanced Apple Podcasts app with a redesigned show and episode pages, and a Search tab, as well as new emoji.
