#Apple M5 performance

Apple today officially unveiled the M5 chip which will power the refreshed 14-inch Macbook Pro, Apple Vision Pro and the iPad Pro. Built using 3rd generation 3nm technology, the Apple M5 comes with a new 10-core GPU architecture with a Neural Accelerator in each core which now has over 4x the peak GPU compute performance compared to M4. The M5 has up to 10-core CPU made up of 6 efficiency cores and up to 4 performance cores, giving it a 15% boost in multithreaded performance over the M4. Devices runing on the new Apple M5 will be released by October 22. The ROG Zephyrus G16 GU606 is the more traditional performance model in the series. The ROG Zephyrus G14 GU405 is the smallest model in the lineup, built for portable performance. Apple has revealed that the iPhone 12 and 12 mini now come in the color Purple. As per Apple, the new finish complements the beautiful flat-edge design of the iPhone 12.
