If Apple users think their ecosystem is very secure, they might have to rethink it over again: Mac OS X and iOS, its mobile counterpart, are two of the most vulnerable operating systems last year, according to the US National Vulnerability Database (NVD). Apple's two software systems lead the pack with a combined 274 vulnerabilities reported for the last year alone. Apple has revealed that the iPhone 12 and 12 mini now come in the color Purple. As per Apple, the new finish complements the beautiful flat-edge design of the iPhone 12. Moreover, the company also revealed that both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in Purple ship with the latest iOS 14.5, which features the ability to unlock iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a face mask, an enhanced Apple Podcasts app with a redesigned show and episode pages, and a Search tab, as well as new emoji. Additionally, Apple revealed that Siri no longer has a default voice and will include more voice options in English. Apple announced the official date for its upcoming Apple Event. As seen on Apple's website, the virtual launch will be held from Apple Park in Cupertino, California where the tech company's corporate headquarters is located.
