Apple has announced its latest update to Apple Podcasts. Apple Podcasts will have videos in them this spring. The new feature uses Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology to deliver video playback across different networks. With this, users can switch between listening and watching podcasts within the app. Video podcasts will also appear in recommendations, category pages and editorial sections alongside audio podcasts. Apple’s podcast catalog is available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, CarPlay, Vision Pro and on their website. Apple dropped iOS 27 beta 1 right after the WWDC 2026 keynote, and yes, the new Siri AI is in there. Apple is putting the new Siri AI behind a waitlist, much like what they did with Apple Intelligence back in iOS 18.1.
