Asus Philippines today unveiled two new models under the Eee PC Shell line -- the entry-level Eee PC 1005HA and high-end Eee PC 1008HA. The over-all look and specs are very similar to the Asus S101H launched earlier. The Asus Eee PC Shell will have a suggested retail price of around Php22,500 (for the 1005HA model) up to Php32,950 (for the 1008HA model). Asus is also introducing Linux OS on some models along with Windows XP. Asus Philippines will finally launch the newer edition of its Eee PC series this week. After last month's launching at Computex in Taiwan, Asus is bringing here the 10-inch Eee PC 1000. From the Asus website, looks like they'd be coming out with 6 shiny colors of the Asus Eee PC -- Red, Green, Black, Peony White, Pearl White and Fine Ebony. Other models released earlier in Taiwan but will not be available locally are the Asus Eee PC 1000H, 1000HD, 901 and 904HD.
