Crime reporting goes digital: In an effort to optimize the use of current technology, the Philippine National Police and the University of the Cordilleras has recently launched its Bantay Krimen Mobile app as part of its 'Lambat Sibat' program. The Bantay Krimen Mobile Application is a community-based tool in promoting crime awareness, reporting, and prevention at the tip of everyone’s fingertips with the use of their handheld Personal Digital Assistant (PDAs – cellphone or tablet) gadgets.
