Google just recently rebranded their AI model from Bard to Gemini, but they haven’t stopped there. However, with our story of Bard becoming Gemini just recently these reports may have more exposure over time. Per this leaked post, Google is making some huge changes to their AI chatbot Bard as soon as this coming week. With the company only introducing its new multipurpose AI model Gemini at the end of 2023, along with Bard (primarily in English)—the story just falls into place. The Bard changelog shared by Android app developer Dylan Roussel is set for February 7, and also mentions that the paid subscription for Gemini Advanced will be available by then. This model is “far more capable at highly complex tasks like coding, logical reasoning, following nuanced instructions, and creative collaboration.” The premium version of the AI integration will be available in over 150 countries, optimized for the English language similar to Bard at the start. Aside from a new Pixel foldable, Google is also expanding its AI chatbot ‘Bard’ access to over 180 countries including the Philippines. Just type in bard.google.com on your browser and you can start to chat with it just like how you do prompts on ChatGPT or Bing Chat.
