#Borderlands 3 upgrade

Gearbox Software has recently announced the upgrade of the Borderlands 3 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Among the new features for the upgrade includes a 4K at 60 FPS support for single-player mode for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X and three to four-player, split-screen options including the Xbox Series S. The vertical split-screen mode, however,  will be available on the mentioned gaming consoles, along with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and up Those who own the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One will get the upgrades for free, carrying all the add-on content and saved files to the latest version. In 2021, the developers also announced that the Borderlands 3 will allow cross-platform play. Gearbox Software has not announced yet the exact date for the upgrade's availability. Microsoft just announced that all users running on current Windows 8.1, Windows Phone 8.1, and Windows 7 PCs and devices will be upgraded to the Windows 10 operating system, but there's a catch. Several versions are excluded in the upgrade, such as the ill-fated Windows RT. Active Software Assurance customers in volume licensing have the benefit to upgrade to Windows 10 Enterprise outside of this offer.
