Sony has not confirmed the name of the camera or any specifications, but the timing fits. Rumors circulating in the camera community point to a new 33-megapixel “partially stacked” sensor designed by Sony, with support for 4K video recording at up to 60 frames per second. Canon Philippines has officially revealed the local pricing and availability of the new EOS R6 V, a full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at photographers and content creators. The camera is priced at PHP 148,998 for the body only and is now available for pre-order nationwide. For video creators, the camera supports 7K 30p RAW open gate recording, allowing users to crop footage into different formats such as 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 from a single recording. The Canon EOS R6 V is available for pre-order through Henry's Cameras stores nationwide and during the Henry's Cameras Photo Fiesta from June 19 to 21, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
