Nothing CEO Carl Pei shared the company’s interest on X shortly after Google’s announcement. Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, has introduced its new sub-brand called CMF by Nothing. The aim is to democratize good design and impact more people, according to Pei in a ‘Community Update’ video. Pei emphasized that both Nothing and CMF by Nothing are design- and user experience-led organizations. This is to ensure that “there's no distraction” from the main products, says Pei. Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing.tech has confirmed that its next flagship, the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. In contrast with the Phone (1), Pei says that the Phone (2) is a ‘clear upgrade’ which is a fact since the former only ran the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset.
