Today, OpenAI announced that the ChatGPT app is now available for all macOS users. While the app initially came out mid-May, it had a slow rollout limited to ChatGPT Plus subscribers. OpenAI notes that the ChatGPT app for Macs are meant to make it easier for users to access their platform. If users have the app installed, simply press Option + Space to bring up an interface to ask ChatGPT a question. There’s also a built-in Voice Mode for interacting with ChatGPT vocally, a search feature to look through past conversations, and more. We should expect more ChatGPT integrations with Apple devices soon. ChatGPT is slated for further integration into iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.
