Apple has just unveiled the new 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the latest M5 chip. The M5 chip boasts a next-generation 10-core GPU, each core equipped with its own Neural Accelerator, delivering 3.5 times faster AI performance than its predecessor, the M4, and up to 6 times faster than the original M1.

* Up to 6.8x faster 3D rendering in Blender when compared to the 13‑inch MacBook Pro with M1, and up to 1.7x faster than the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4.

* Up to 3.2x higher frame rates in games when compared to the 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1,3 and up to 1.6x faster than the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4.

* Up to 2.1x faster build performance when compiling code in Xcode when compared to the 13‑inch MacBook Pro with M1, and up to 1.2x faster than the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4.

The new MacBook Pro supports up to 24 hours of battery life, faster SSD storage with up to 2 times the speed of the previous generation, and up to 4TB of configurable storage.

The laptop also features the same Liquid Retina XDR display, a 12MP Center Stage camera, and a six-speaker sound system.

The 14-inch Macbook Pro M5 has a starting price of $1,599. Available in space black and silver, pre-orders open now with availability starting October 22, 2025.

In the Philippines the 14-inch Macbook Pro M5 starts at Php99,990 for the 16GB + 512GB variant and goes up to Php203,990 for the 32GB + 4TB variant. Availability is not yet determined for the Philippine market.
