Xiaomi has officially expanded its performance-focused Turbo lineup in China with the launch of two new smartphones: the REDMI Turbo 5 and the REDMI Turbo 5 Max. The REDMI Turbo 5 Max headlines the launch as the first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500s chipset, paired with an enormous 9,000mAh battery designed for marathon gaming and all-day heavy use. Huawei is launching the nova 16 series in China on June 1, and the company has already pulled the curtain on what the phones look like. Reservations are now live on Huawei's official China store, with full payment due on launch day. For reference, the Reno 15 Pro launched locally at PHP 49,999 in February, starting from the same CNY 3,699 in China, so expect a similar markup when it arrives here. vivo has launched the X300 FE in the Philippines, introducing a compact flagship smartphone with ZEISS-branded cameras, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processing, and a 6500mAh battery.
