Many users saw an error message saying they needed to “unblock challenges.cloudflare.com” before the sites could load. Cloudflare posted an update saying that a fix had been rolled out and that services were returning to normal. The company said it first noticed a “spike in unusual traffic” around 6:20AM ET, which caused errors across its network. Cloudflare is still investigating what triggered the sudden traffic spike.
