#Cloudflare outage

A major Cloudflare outage caused several global websites and apps including X (Twitter), ChatGPT, and even DownDetector to go offline on Tuesday morning. Many users saw an error message saying they needed to “unblock challenges.cloudflare.com” before the sites could load. Cloudflare posted an update saying that a fix had been rolled out and that services were returning to normal. Cloudflare is still investigating what triggered the sudden traffic spike. Cloudflare’s CTO Dane Knecht, clarified on X that the outage wasn’t caused by a cyberattack. The outage also affected other major platforms like Uber, Spotify, Canva, Grindr, Indeed, and several news websites. This incident comes just weeks after large outages hit AWS and Microsoft Azure, disrupting major online services worldwide.
