Coursera has partnered with OpenAI to become one of the first apps integrated into ChatGPT, marking the first time an online learning platform is directly embedded in the chatbot. The integration allows ChatGPT users to access Coursera’s educational videos and materials directly within conversations. Users can access the Coursera app by asking ChatGPT for it by name, and the assistant will also suggest Coursera resources when relevant to a topic. According to Coursera, over 800 million people use ChatGPT weekly, with learning among its top use cases. The Coursera app is now available to logged-in ChatGPT users outside the EU across all plans — Free, Go, Plus, and Pro — in English. Coursera and OpenAI plan to further expand the app’s features and explore new ways to make education more personal and scalable through AI. OpenAI has just announced its first-ever subscription plan for ChatGPT with ChatGPT Plus. According to OpenAI, those who subscribe to ChatGPT Plus will be able to receive a number of benefits such as: General access to ChatGPT, even during peak times Faster response times Priority access to new features and improvements ChatGPT Plus is priced at USD 20 per month and is only currently available to customers in the United States.
