The telco tapped Curvalux to enable the telco to deliver cost-effective, high-speed broadband services to urban, suburban, and rural areas using the 'phased array multibeam broadband system.' According to the telco, this aims to bring low-cost internet to more Filipino households in hard-to-reach areas. Curvalux is a manufacturer of Next Generation Wireless Broadband technologies. Globe remarked that the Curvalux system is energy efficient, allowing the entire system to be operated using low-cost solar panels and batteries. Moreover, the cutting-edge patented design of the Curvalux system is believed to provide unmatched performance through its multi-beam design. Curvalux identified Edge Node as the system that provides fixed wireless broadband connectivity with a capacity higher in magnitude than 5G and consumes a fraction of the power.
