#D-Link DIR-451

Those who were interested in the Smart Bro Share It Wireless Router but want to use any mobile 3G provider may want to look into this 3G router by D-Link, the DIR451. D-Link DIR-451 3G Mobile Router UMTS/HSDPA WiFi 802.11 b/g WEP, WPA, and WPA2 security Dual active firewalls (SPI and NAT) 4-port 10/100 LAN The retail price though is a but higher, at Php8,988, but that's what you pay for an unlocked 3G router and the 24-month service contract. D-Link's got their own pocket WiFi (D-Link DWR-530) with the same features and functionalities that we've seen before from the likes of Huawei and ZTE. The D-Link DWR-530 was launched back in January 17, 2012. We got a sample unit from D-Link and been using the router since this week-end. D-Link promises up to 5 hours of usage on a single full charge but can't seem to reach 4 hours on the road with this one (will need additional tests). The local reps of D-Link has not shared with us the suggested retail price of the DWR-530 (will update once I get it).
